  • 1.5 lbs pork shoulder cut into large strips

Char Siu Marinade

Optional Garnishes

  • Steamed greens
  • Scallions
  • Rice for serving

Instructions

  • In a bowl combine soy sauce, shaoxing wine, sesame oil, sugar, honey, garlic, hoisin sauce, salt, white pepper, five spice powder, and optional red food coloring and mix thoroughly.
  • Place your pork shoulder in a separate bowl and pour the marinade over it. Let it sit for at least 1 hour, or longer if you prefer.
  • Lube up your air fryer, then place in your pork. Brush on some extra marinade and cook at 350°F (175°C) for 18 minutes, flipping and basting halfway through.
  • Slice your pork thinly and place over a fresh bowl of rice. You can optionally serve with steamed greens.
