Ground Beef

Eggs

  • 3 eggs
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 1 tsp sugar

Optional Garnishes

  • Steamed rice
  • Chives
  • Sesame seeds

Instructions

  • Crack the eggs into a bowl and add salt and sugar. Whisk until fully incorporated.
  • Heat a pan over medium heat with a bit of oil. Add the eggs and scramble until fully cooked, then remove and set aside.
  • In the same pan, add the minced ginger and cook until fragrant.
  • Add the ground beef and break it apart. Cook until browned, about 7 minutes.
  • Add dark soy sauce, light soy sauce, sugar, and sake. Stir and cook until the sauce thickens and coats the beef.
  • Serve both the beef and eggs in a bowl, optionally over rice, and garnish with chives and sesame seeds.
