Ground Beef

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 3 cloves garlic minced

Sauce

Optional Garnishes

  • Rice for serving
  • Sesame seeds
  • Scallions
  • Fried egg

Instructions

  • Add oil to a pan over medium heat and add the minced garlic. Cook until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
  • Add the ground beef and break it apart. Let it sit undisturbed for a couple of minutes to develop browning, then continue cooking until mostly browned.
  • Add in gochujang, dark soy sauce, light soy sauce, sesame oil, and sugar. Stir well and continue cooking until the sauce thickens and coats the beef.
  • Remove from the heat and serve over a fresh bowl of rice.
  • Optionally garnish with sesame seeds, scallions, and a fried egg.
