  • 16 oz. chicken thighs cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 15 cloves garlic peeled
  • ¼ cup water

For the Sauce

Instructions

  • In a small bowl, combine dark soy sauce, light soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, and black pepper. Mix thoroughly and set aside.
  • Heat a pan over medium heat with a bit of oil. Add the garlic cloves and cook for a couple of minutes until lightly golden.
  • Add water, cover, and cook until the garlic cloves are tender. Remove the garlic and set aside.
  • In the same pan, add the chicken and cook for a few minutes until browned on all sides.
  • Return the garlic to the pan and pour in the sauce. Stir continuously until the sauce thickens and coats the chicken and garlic.
  • Serve over a fresh bowl of rice or enjoy as is.
